Biography

Mr. Emerick knew early on in law school that criminal defense was his passion.

Not only is it an exciting area of law, it also allows him to help those in their time of need as they navigate the often complex and intimidating legal system.

During law school Mr. Emerick was a certified law student for the Sonoma County Public Defenders office, there he was able to take the lessons from the classroom and apply them to real people, with real cases, facing real criminal charges. It was these years that helped Mr. Emerick understand the court system and the hard work that it takes to advocate for his client’s best interest. He has experience appearing in Sonoma, Marin, Alameda, Mendocino and Lake County courtrooms.

After passing the bar, Mr. Emerick, along with his wife, Angela Emerick, decided they could best serve their community by opening their own practice and helping those in their time of need.

Mr. Emerick also believes that strong local involvement is an essential part of effective advocacy. To this end, Mr. Emerick is a member of the Building Board of Appeals for the City of Petaluma. He is also an active volunteer at local Immigration events on behalf of Emerick Law Offices P.C.
